How to use

Work through a problem, one branch at a time.

Work directly on the tree, or discuss it with your agent. Keep your questions, possibilities and evidence in view as you think.

  1. Start with the question. The first card is your starting point: a question, goal or claim. Read its branches from left to right. Use Problem to clarify what you want to change and the limits that matter.
  2. Develop one thought. Click a card to edit it, or use its + to add a child. Give it a short label and add what you learn in Notes. Edits save automatically; a new card stays a draft until you choose Add.
  3. Check what you know. Record evidence and its source. Keep assumptions and unknowns visible. Ask your agent what else could explain the situation, or what would change the decision.

→ What paid bookings do we have?

Follow the connections

A line links a thought to the card on its left. Its label explains the relationship: an input to a calculation, a possible explanation, a supporting reason or another kind of connection. Use a method badge or Details → Tree type to change how a branch works; your agent can choose with you.

Choose a tree, or combine several

Start with what you need: break down a problem, test an explanation, understand a number or compare a choice. The chooser shows each method, with examples under Example & help. Each subtree can use a different method; set it on that subtree’s first card. A method label on the card shows where it starts.

Keep the view manageable

Find the optional Take a tour guide under ?. The small chevron on a card reveals or hides its children. Focus branch shows just the selected branch; Whole tree brings you back. Drag the background to pan, use the zoom controls, or choose Reset view.

Understand the status

Open means still being explored. Uncertain marks a gap or assumption. Supported is a recorded judgement; inspect its basis in Notes and Sources. The canvas does not verify claims for you. Undo reverses your most recent saved edit until another editor updates the session.

Keep your work

Export includes all branches, notes and sources. Review them before sharing. The bottom prompt follows your selected card. Dismiss it whenever you prefer.
